  1. Their factory is back in lockdown due to another outbreak.
  2. Agree, really nice in one wide field. It’s a great image πŸ‘πŸΌ
  3. Yet another +1 for Juan at cheapastrophotography. He modded my Canon 800D and very pleased with it.
  4. In the simplest of terms an arcsecond is an Astro term for a measurement of angle. In the case of a mount think about either how accurately a mount is made and how steady it is. Any wobble caused by design/manufacture/gear tolerances means a higher arcsecond guiding number (less accurate guiding). The lower the number, the better the mount and the bigger your pockets need to be! πŸ˜€ https://astronomy.com/magazine/bob-berman/2016/10/just-an-arcsecond HTH
  5. Not seen those - in many ways easier than what I’d suggested in the Primaluce Lab variety in that mounting points will always line up with individual spacers/bolts. Good call!
  6. Primaluce Labs also make them in anodised aluminium in a variety of heights. I use them and nicely made.
  7. Great image and yes I’d agree that bortle 8 for London seems generous - it’s very bright for me too!
  8. Haha, every time! Looks like a nice single sub though πŸ‘
  9. Agree! Increase gain and exposure times
  10. To confirm even the ASI Pro version will allow dew heater adjustments in 10% increments (using PWM) providing the port is named as being a dew heater. From memory only 2 of the ports can be used in this setting. I’ve used the RVO heaters mentioned above for the last year with no issues at all. HTH
  11. If it helps, I’ve got the EQM-35 pro mount sitting on an NEQ6 2” tripod using the Geoptik HEQ5 to NEQ6 adaptor which means with the bigger and heavier tripod it’s MUCH more stable. That said, I would think a HEQ5 pier adaptor should fit but note the securing thread in the bottom of the EQM-35 mount is (from memory) a 3/8” thread but the larger mounts may use a 1/2” thread hence the thread adaptor that comes with it. HTH
