Meade LXD55 Schmidt Newtonian 6” telescope

I have been looking at a Meade LXD55 Schmidt Newtonian telescope second hand for around £280. In good condition.

is this a good deal? And how is this telescope for imaging with a DSLR (I know it’s quite old)? Also, what is the weight of this telescope?
