astro mick
Hi. This is NGC6914 in Cygnus. It is both an Emission and a Reflection Nebulae. I took this image with my 102ED and Atik 314L+ with a x0.6 Reducer. It is a straight RGB image of about 1.5hrs per channel. I was hoping i could of got some more subs,as the night looked good, but of course in rolled the clouds, and my time was cut short. But it was good to get out. Calibrated with Bias and Flats. Cheers. Mick.

Rodd
Tremendous image! Very realistic. And the scale is much closer in than I expected with a small scope.....reduced. Amazing resolution. Don't know if you are a Star Trek fan, but in the OS, they met a god like creature called Negilum. These eyes remind me of his.
michael.h.f.wilkinson
Very nice indeed. Haven't seen this one before. Might have a shot at that with my Meade SN 6 Schmidt-Newton should the weather finally give me a break
