SGL 2021 Challenge 1 - Satellites Winners

Outstanding challenge entries with the lunar transit of the ISS being quite a highlight.  Superb lunar images and great Vesta animation.  Judging has been difficult and I wish I could expand the top 3 to a top 10!

 

1. Melsky ISS transit 

A very well composed video and the animation of the transit is stunningly good.

 

2. Neil Phillips - Moon

A beautiful image of the moon with subtle colouration.  Expertly processed

 

3 (joint)  Knight of clear skies - M31 with satellite trail animation

A lovely timelapse of Andromeda revealing heavy satellite traffic.

3. (joint) Festoon M31 with satellite trails

 

Finally, not a winner this one, but it shows the pitfalls and difficulties of imaging and it really made me laugh.  Thank you Happy-Kat!
