ASI1600mm pro first light - Elephant Trunk & Veil Complex

First time poster in this forum I believe. I've been imaging DSO just other a year now and back in May I decided to buy a dedicated camera and retire the modded 600D for DSO work.

However the weather has been rather poor to say the least and I have only managed two targets since the end of May. I had to ditch about 6 hours of additional Elephant Trunk data due to a few boo boo's but you learn from your mistakes (hopefully).

 

All taken with ASI1600 pro with ZWO HA & O3 filters. Whitecat 51 and HEQ5 pro mount.

IC1396 9.5 hours HA, 6.25 hours O3 HOO. 300 second subs, processed in Photoshop.

 

Veil complex 2 hours HA, 1.25 hours O3 HOO 300 second subs, processed in photoshop The Veil is work in progress (more data to be added) and should have more subs but an ageing laptop crashed whilst i was sleeping.

 

Any comments, advise or criticism to help me along will be most appreciated.

Thanks, just got to wait for some more clear skies and get some more data. At the moment the weather is looking ok towards the end of the week and next week but who knows what it will do!  For me when it says it's clear, it's cloudy, and when it says it's cloudy it ends up being clear 😫🤔
