California dreaming - NGC1499 deep widefield

Slowly catching up on all my Christmas images! Never shot this one before, but having seen some great shots of it recently I thought I would have a go!

Details: Borg 77EDII + 0.85x DGL reducer + Art11002 + Astronomik Ha 12x600s (2hrs)

Wow, great image with lots and lots of detail. I see you are using BORG's. I'm assuming the 77mm did the imaging? What do you think of these telescopes and which would you recommend?

Yep, that is one superb piece of data capture and process.

It is a very fine image Eddie.

There seems to be a faint loop just below midway on the left edge of the picture. This loop actully intersects the bright star 2/3rds down.

Ron, The loop is caused by a bright star just out of frame. I missed it during the processing!
