Thank you, Grant. M13 looked like it was coming together nicely. 😀 As a visual astronomer, I am always amazed by the density and resolution achieved by high quality astrophotography kit when capturing clusters. Thank you for sharing your insight into the project and also the link to today’s broadcast. Looking forward to the Veil.

It works really nicely - very reliable which is what you want for remote work and flats are nicely controllable as you can set the brightness in software.

Sounds good.

looking to set up a remote telescope at our holiday home (east Germany) at some point. Taking flats and  covering the lens are two of the bridges to cross but I think that’s solved now 👍

78 x 30s live stack of the Crescent coming in - the SX 694 is a really great camera for this, lovely and sensitive and so low noise!

Off to bed now but that was a fun experience - I hope it paves the way for us to do some virtual star parties between ourselves here on SGL so, if you have a rig you would be up for sharing virtually let me know and I will put something together - especially if we have people spread around a bit in the hopes it's clear somewhere!
