Need help, Got cheap telescope because of mouse nest

Got a LXD55 Arc6 cheap because of the mouse nest up against the main objective.  I took everything apart, including the main two piece objective (mouse pee wicked in between and had to) and cleaned.  Used my camera cleaning gear and the Lens look clean enough, do not see anything major with them.  I applied a coat of flat black primer inside the tube, put everything back together, and now Jupiter (and other planets and stars) looks to have a flare coming off the side of it, with all eye pieces.  

I am not 100% sure that the main objective got put back properly, and I have a feeling that is where the issue may lie.

Anyone have any ideas?

Another problem might be that you pinched the objective, got it mounted a bit too tight

Awesome! Thank you Waldemar, exactly what I needed.  I have to check, but I think I indeed assembled backwards.

I found a black sharpie mark that goes across both lens edges, how important  (if at all) is the alignment of this mark?

if the main objective elements carry a mark on the edge it's best to align these when assembling it as that'll be where the maker found the best performance of the 2 elements combined to be.

alignment marks are there for a reason... optics is a very specific science and quite complicated.

The lens were reversed!  I do have a question about "The side with the steeper curve " of the crown lens.  I can definitely see asymmetry in the crowns lens, but what side is "steeper"?  The side that is closer to the center-line of the lens or the side that is further from the center-line?  

I think it is the side that is closer to the center-line.  I will reassemble and test, if it is bad will reverse and try that.

Was clear last night (albeit windy, warm, humid and moon was lighting everything up).  Was able to faintly make out the bands on Jupiter and rings of Saturn (I would share images here, but I do not think I am supposed to do that), and no flaring at all.
