I agree with a number of comments above. It was one of the best Horizon programs I have ever seen. I am going to watch it again on the iplayer.

It looks like a great doc. Recorded and watching later. Showing my age, I remember Horizon in the early 1970's.

I think that The BBC should be congratulated for good honest docs. But have at times imho introduced politics  to some degree.
