Dual Widefield Imaging Rig

This is the result of an imaging session last night and early this morning which shows the amount of misalignment.  With the image area loss being quite small it seems unnecessary to produce a new mounting system.

Hi Gina. I am not sure what the inner diameter of those rings need to be, but I have successfully used this for my twin finderscope arrangement having 60mm I.D.

I'm leaving the mounting as it is for now since I'm not losing much due to misalignment.

Now printing the parts for remote focussing.

Stacked images looking good, misalignment is pretty negligible.

I think what you have been creating with your 3D printing is brilliant, I couldn't really get my brain into CAD work.

There's little misalignment to worry about there Gina that's for sure. Well done on getting it all together, your 3D printing stuff is great..... You are inspirational 👍

Remote focussing now installed and working.  This is focussing on a comms mast over 5 miles away.  These pics show zooming in right down to pixel level.
