DSLR modification service

Hey,

I was considering getting my 600D astro modded. I had my eye on cheap astrophotography for a while but I've sent two messages via the web form and had no replies. Anyone know if he's still working, or a member of the forum? Alternatively any other recommendations?

l'm not sure and its only a guess but l think Juan is from Spain. He may have been visiting family and of course Spain like us is in lock down. Its only a thought as when l contacted him about 4 years ago he was out of the country.

I think @steviebee is probably correct. When I bought our Astromodified DLSR from Cheap Astrophotography about 18 months ago, it took awhile to get a reply as he'd been on holiday. Juan does the conversion in his spare time / weekends too.

FWIW he did mine some years back and very pleased with result - but as folks say his attention probably elsewhere at the moment. His website has 2020 entries, so I think he's still in business.

Yeah Juan did a good job on my 600D a couple of years ago. Very happy.

More recently I used Andy at Astronomiser to modify my 6D. I did this because he was the only person I could find in the UK that would touch a 6D. That turned out good too.
