Here's my first SHO hubble pallette pic!  my ZWO Sii filter arrived at Christmas time, to complete the Ha Oiii Sii trinity.      I found Sii doesn't add much to a lot of things so far but my first target was the crab nebula.  What an explosion of colour!

200PDS, EQ6-R, ASI1600MM-pro, Zwo filters, about 1hr of each.

Yep, it's my attempt at a Hubble Palette.  Worked out OK here 🙂 thanks for the kind words.

I went looking for the crab nebula timelapse/animation.  It really is an explosion! Mindboggling scales and distances... (again, AP has made me wonderstruck at the epic sizes involved..)

My filters are 36mm unmounted ZWO ones, apparently optimised for my ASI1600.  I'm sure more expensive brands are better.  FWIW, I believe mine are 7nm filters.  The Oiii and Sii are the mark 2 versions, allegedly bette at reducing halos around bright stars.  My Ha is Mk1 version and definitely gives big halos around bright stars.  In the pic above, none are really bright enough to show the effect.  I'll certainly post more and I'm sure you will notice the halos...
