Losmandy head for EQ6?

I have one of the white 2009 EQ6-Pro synscan which came with then vixen only head. Is it possible to swop it for the dual saddle head?  I read somewhere that it only fits the later models but this isn’t mentioned on the websites that sell it.

I replaced the puck on my NEQ6PRO with the Geoptic dual version.

works well for me.

I bought the sjywatcher white dual saddle for £29 from RVO and it fitted to my old black EQ6 a treat.

I understand your decision based on $$$$$, but the Geoptic and ADM  dual saddles are much better designed than the cheap and nasty SW solution.

There are a few makers of quality saddles out there and once you’ve used one of them the stock Skywatcher stuff will seem utterly unacceptable. You just need the right puck for your mount.

@Merlin66 @johninderby I do have geoptik dual saddles and altair astro saddles, so money isnt the driving factor here.  I've had no issues with my current SW vixen holder, so I just assumed the same would be true with the new one too.
