Well done, I like the framing.  That is a long exposure.  You might get a better result still if you took lots of 2 minute ones and stacked them.

Indeed: however the single long exposure meant I could come back indoors for more food and and drink!

I wonder if it might be worth stopping the lens down a little, too, to see if it improves the stars near the edge of the frame?

The NAN shows up beautifully though.  In fact at that scale and orientation the NAN, Pelican and the nebulosity just below them look like a skull, facing right and slightly down

With the free APT program, you can do.  Leave it running and come back indoors.

Sounds good - can APT run in the camera or does it need a separate PC?
