Yes I felt the same.  The last few slides he skipped looked interesting.

I keep meaning to pause that bit as he skips through the slides and try to work out what it's about.  Not got around to doing it yet though.

I saw this live at the practical astronomy show. There are a few key things omited, as he said at the time it's a complicated subject and you could spend much more time on it than he had. Still a good introduction to the theory mind you.
