NGC6888 Crescent Nebula

Had 90 minutes of clear sky after sunset so had a go at NGC 6888 crescent nebula, managed 14 frames before I was clouded out :crybaby: forcast is carp for the rest of the week

14 x 300 sec subs, darks, flats & bias frames applied.

Image is a bit carp to be honest, needs lots more subs but it was worth a go.

Nowt wrong with that image George the tracking, focusing and framing are spot on, the Nebula just needs a little more exposure time to bring out the central dimmer areas.

As Kevin says George a nice image, great widefield, lots of detail and colour for the exposure.

This is a real swine of an object to capture, George so it looks pretty good to me. More subs will do it but there isn't much on this object to 'hang your hat on'.

I can see hints of nebulosity elsewhere but quite faint and cresent is very nice.
