Jarvo Posted November 14, 2018 Share Posted November 14, 2018 Hi All. After many struggles with my processing software I managed to get this image of Uranus from the other night. I wasn’t expecting any detail but happy with the colour and a decent disk size from the equipment (see below). I did try and get an overexposed avi for the moons but that didn’t work out. Equipment: 150 mm Skywatcher Mak QHY5 III 290C camera and IR filter 2 x Apo Barlow 1500/1800 frames captured in Sharpcap For post processing I put the Avi though PIPP first then processsed though Registax 5 then tweaked the levels GIMP.
