First light SW SolarQuest

Stopped raining at last so got to try out the SolarQuest, tried to follow the instructions but it ignored me and did it's own thing and found the sun spot on.

Been tracking it perfectly for over an hour so should be fine for imaging but too many clouds ATM seems pretty stable in the wind though.

Also first try with the Moonlite DC motor focuser which worked well.

They do seem to work well Dave, very convenient. Should make life a bit easier :)

Yes Stu, bit expensive for a one trick pony but definitely going to be worth it and free up the iOptron iEQ45 for the 152mm Quark combo.

Hopefully Sun tomorrow.

Glad it seems to be working for you Dave. I had mine out for the first time with a Lunt LS60 and 50mm DS that I'm trialling before buying.

I think I'll need a longer dovetail to help improve balance a bit but it all seemed to work well enough today.
