Superb Norfolk skies!

Took the caravan down to Wells-next-sea for a holiday. Had to let the dog out at 2am and was greeted by the most gorgeous sky I've seen for some time. Can't remember the last time I saw the Milky way from horizon to horizon ,you felt you could reach out and touch M31. Need to organise some portable set up for times like this, shame I didn't have my spectro gear with me. I understand why Kelling is so popular?.

I'm heading there next week... moons a bit fuller than I'd like but the frac and the 70mm bins are coming along too.. thanks for wetting the appetite!

That's the sort of thing that haunts me!  I sometimes dream I've travelled to a place with lovely views and forgotten my camera!

Nice to hear a good dark skies report.

Been in Mid Wales since Thursday- between the clouds the views of the Milky Way have been stunning. Not worth setting up the scope but definately worth a quick binocuclar session!
