According to Wiki, the current record-holder is believed to be 10th magnitude VY Cma, hardly a searchlight though...

There's videos on Youtube about size comparisons, the largest they say is a VV Cephei type star, but we all know....its not how big it is, its what you do with it that counts!

I once bought a hammer and it had a yellow sticker with something along the lines of "Do not strike body parts" with a picture of a hand being whacked by a hammer. Quite cool I thought.
