NEW Celestron 8" f2 Rowe-Ackermann

Celestron have released details of their new Celestron 8" Rowe-Ackermann Astrograph (RASA-8) ? 

We don't yet have a price or ETA but we will post both as soon as we know.

I doubt it will be available October here in the UK. We are predicting around December.

Thanks for this update.  How do you focus using a mask with this scope or does this preclude that method?

Perhaps the easiest way is to put a bahtinov mask in front of the highly recommended dew shield.

You can use a bahnitov mask but it's best to buy a hyperstar one with a bigger central hole, and mod it by cutting it in half to put on and remove without having to remove the camera.
