As part of the Apollo 50 Anniversary, thought some of you might like a little open source project.

You can make the paper model if you don't have a Pi, but a Pi Zero W is only £13 with the header.

I like it. It is so cute!

I remember visiting the Goonhilly telescopes, Cornwall, on the last summer holiday we had as a family with my [late] mum, dad (before they separated & divorced) and sister... late 1960's/early 1970's. I don't think mum and sister were that impressed with them. Then onto visit RNAS Culdrose and then the Lizard lighthouse.

...I was gutted to discover that they had closed the visitor centre there, when I visited on holiday in 2015. 

Yes, those are people riding Segways in the foreground.  I didn’t even get to ride one of those either.  ?

Goonhilly Visitor Centre was closed down by BT sometime ago, the Segways have been in residence a while,
but you will be pleased to know Goonhilly Earth Station is again up and running.....as is Arthur.
