carastro
I and Lorenzo (of this forum) went to my local campsite this weekend, boy it was hot, and we are doing it again next weekend - we must be mad. The Moon was rising at 2am and 2.40 but a small crescent. Skies were mostly clear but Saturday better than Friday night. Never done a dark nebula before so decided to spend both nights on the same target taking Luminance only on the WO/Atik314L camera and LRGB with the ED80/Atik460EX (dual rig). It's been a while since I did any broadband with the Atik314L and the stars were much larger than those on the Atik460EX so I think I will only do narrowband with the Atik314L in future. Luminance 8 x 600 (Atik314) + 5 x 600 (Atik460) on Friday Luminance 9 x 900 (Atik314) and 9 x 600 (Atik460) on Saturday RGB 3 x 200secs binned x 2 on Friday (Atik460) RGB 5 x 300secs binned x 2 on Saturday (Atik460) Total Luminance 5h 55m, total RGB 1h 43m Grand total 7 hours and 38 minutes

Rodd
Nice job. I think I would drop the black point a touch and the dust cloud will pop. (IMO) Rodd
