Very exciting news, its not that long ago that we were speculating wether there were any planets at all out there, now we know details like this.

Very interesting... but a cloudy atmosphere at 1000 degrees C??? Maybe metallic clouds.

Every VLT image I see only reinforces my sense of awe for that instrument. I wish news outlets gave more detail on the configuration and instruments used, as well as information on the target (i.e. location, size, distance).

Can't wait for the ELT to start pumping out images!

Fascinating discovery, a solar system in the making,literally. I can’t wait for James Webb and ELT to get up and running, though I’m loosing faith I’ll see JSWT working in my lifetime,and I’m 43.
