Rechargeable Battery Recommendations

Hi All,

I need to replace my Celestron 7AH powertank with a rechargeable battery that will last at least 4 to 5 hours, it will be powering my HEQ5Pro, my laptop, guide camera and in the winter dew heaters, can anyone point me in the right direction.

Tracer if you can afford them...

I use a Li tracer battery pack (2 of them) one for mount and on for dew cap. Tells you how much charge you have, also the charger lets you know when your battery is fully charged. Heaps better then the celestron powertank

Large deep cycle leisure battery.

Batteries usually have terminal posts for attaching the cables to.

Second that. I use a CSB EVX 40 Ah AGM battery, enough for an at least 8-hour session with HEQ5 tracking and lunar/solar/planetary recording (though I don't have dew heaters). HEQ5 is hooked directly to 12 V DC, for the laptop I have a cheap 150 W DC-AC converter.
