Telescope dollies that defy economic logic...

I was thinking if I'm to invest in a heavy dob, perhaps it's about  time I admitted I had  a humanly normal spine and started looking for a telescope dolly. I don't know about you, but I prefer to keep my back in a geometrically acceptable shape.

It turns out, in order to buy a good dolly to save your back from heavy-lifting, you'll have to sell your kidney to afford it.

Am I being unreasonable to think that these dollies probably come from an economy that exists outside our space-time continuum?

I would say yes, way outside.........they look to be made of very cheap materials considering their cost ?

Wheely bars are easy to make and much less expensive:

I agree with John, some wheelbarrow handles are far cheaper and do exactly the same job

I've seen Faulksy use the wheelbarrow handles with ease on a 20"... They do work exceptionally well. Whether with one central wheel at the front as per his design or as John has shown with the two...

While on the subject, I've been wanting a telescope like this one for ages. I hear you can get a 16-inch one yet the eyepiece remains fairly low in comparison, say, to the Skywatcher Flextube 16-inch. Do you know where I can find one?
