Gosh ! But it had to happen on a largish scale somewhere. I think probably most of us who go portable have been 'swooped' upon by concerned police

Even parking the car near to RAF Menwith Hill on a dark night warrants the attention of the armed police.

"Why would a four foot long barrel, mounted on a tripod with a red-dot laser finder,  raise concerns officer.....!!"

When the Olympics were on I had 2 Apache gunships circling over the garden eyeballing my scope, luckily they figured out what I was doing
