Suggested space holiday itinerary

not to space but about space before anybody thinks otherwise ...

I'm thinking of going to the states with my son and visiting kennedy while there. Where else would people suggest going on a trip to the states if I was going to visit Kennedy. This isn't likely to happen soon so he'll be 12 by the time we go.

See if you can arrange your trip around a launch. We were in Orlando when STS128 was due for launch, so we drove to Titusville and got to see a night launch of Space Shuttle Discovery. The launch was cancelled twice due to bad weather, so we were lucky to see it before we came home. Driving from Orlando to Titusville and back three times in as many days was well worth it.
