PHD2 ctrl+left click

Does anyone know what the cyan bullseye targets are in PHD2?

I accidentally discovered these, but can't work out what they're for.  I've looked through the manual and done a few web searches but can't find any info.

I just wondered if anyone know?  If you press ctrl and then left click over the guide screen these appear.

Is it anything I should know about?  Am I missing something?

Remarkable!

I was trying to choose a guide star and these kept appearing. i couldn't get rid of them :-(

In the end I had to autoselect a star, which worked.

Yes these are 'bookmarks'.

I wondered what they were for.  These might come in useful when using the drift alignment tool, to see just how far I'm adjusting the mount.
