I think you maybe thinking of plate scale - arc sec/ pixel.......

Was thinking magnification, ccd chip has an effect on FL of the scope I just don't remember how to calculate it.  My 120m gives much closer views of objects vs my 174m.  Similar to using different eye pieces.

Must be missing some basics here, I have both sensors dimensions, pixel size, resolution set up in stellarium.  Why is it when I view moon using same telescope, different sensors not only is the fov different but the moon is much larger with the smaller sensor?
