July 17, 2017: Early morning moon in near IR

Recommended Posts

Managed to get the moon before breakfast in near IR (>850nm). Had some difficulty processing it, because of some odd glare (or camera artefact) on the righthand side of the moon. This caused all sorts of stacking problems along the terminator in AS!3. Fixed that by stacking in Registax, and postprocessing in ImPPG, and ImageJ, to get rid of the odd gradient on the right. Not perfect, but not bad either.
