Used the ED 80 with the coronado front etalon to give a little more size

 

 

and the Lunt 60mm single stack for the prom disc

It was the small bright limb area at "3 o'clock" position that erupted spectacularly yesterday afternoon at 5pm.

Very nice. No luck here, the last few days, although I might be able to grab some data later. Interesting result with the Coronado etalon on the ED80. Might try to use the Coronado front etalon on my 80mm F/6 some time soon, just to see what happens

that is why I tried it and its not bad,just not as much detail as with the double stack which is understandable

Sure, it will "only" be single stack, but, I could perhaps carry the etalon and blocking filter to the US with my 80mm. The full Coronado SolarMax-II 60mm is out of the question.
