AR 2635 in HA with 2X and 3X barlow

Ah I was so pleased to see there was a spot on show, and clear skies too. But as others have experienced, seeing was awful.  It was impossible to properly focus most of the time, as there was nothing remotely sharp to focus on. It was so bad that AS!2 rejected several video sets. Anyway, ImPPG did its magic as usual and managed to drag these two images out, the first with 2X barlow, the second with 3X, which frankly was 3X too much... Animation to come, if there's anything to show

great shots mate, same here the spots was very wishy washy when I was trying to focus, but you have a good result mate. well done, charl.

Thanks Charl, yes, wishy washy describes the spots, er spot on! Animation is not looking too bad so will post presently

Nice shots Iain. I think I prefer the 2x version.

Thank again, yes I went too far with the 3X! The spot was almost invisible on the screen at 3X due to wobble and low contrast
