If I try M1 again in the future I think i'll give it a go at the native F10 (3040mm) :happy7:

Hi Pete, was considering getting the Optec reducer a while ago but couldn't find anybody using one and didn't want to spend loadsa money on something that didn't perform.

Looks to be doing the business, I've used the old 6.3 one that isn't designed for my scope but it works ok with the Atik 314L

You do realise that it's impossible to do imaging with a fork mounted SCT :grin:

Hi Dave, yes i have been really pleased with this reducer which is designed for the ACF optics. Optec also supply a matched spacer for the camera type which I also use and again this works very well.

Lol, yes I know the fork isn't supposed to work but after years of planetary with this scope and wanting to try deep sky I realised I had nothing to lose by seeing what it could do!! :happy11:
