The moon through the mirk 04-01-17

With preparing for silly season I barely imaged at all last lunation. Now it's over, as of today, I'm ready, I'm prepared, I'm going to image every day.

Wait.... Clouds.

Well I got a smash and grab through a gap in the clouds this evening which is better than nothing.

This is 12 frames at 1/200s ISO 200 through thick haze with terrible soupy seeing with the 5" reflector.

Cropped and aligned in Pipp, stacked in AS!2, wavelets in Registax and noise reduction using the now free Nik Collection in Photoshop. It's a marvel.
