Newbie findings

Bit of a pointless post, complete newbie here and just wanted to share my excitement of finding the Owl cluster the other night Could have spent hours watching it

imballinger I am a complete newbie too, having had great fun in the last few days with the Trapezium just under Orion's belt I see nothing wrong with sharing excitement.  Indeed I think the purpose of forums is to share excitement as well as to ask questions.  I've found Pleiades too and that is also worth a look.

The highlight of this evening so far has been Andromeda, the weathers not the best to be honest so am surprised to have seen it
