Moon filter

Recommended Posts

Hi, it should screw into the bottom of the eyepiece, (opersite to the end you look down) helps reduce glare from a strong moon and very often has a green tint to help things stand out. You can try it when observing other objects to see what it does but remember they very often cut out 70% of the available light and can make things very faint

Hello all, I have a Celestron Nexstar Evolution 8 for Christmas and am new to this... I also got a moon filer but cant figure out where to put it?

The moon filter will screw into the bottom of the eyepiece. 1.25" filter for 1.25" eyepieces and 2" filters for 2" eyepieces
