My long awaited tube has arrived (thats a long story)

Just took delivery of a tube 12"dia 54"long its like the sonotube stuff so I can at last start to build my 10" dob going to start of with painting inside black

would you agree that a black emulsion will be okay for the job?

Don't know Martyn but what's the betting the best paint is astroski noir made by paintjobski and costs £100 per 100ml

Make sure you get Matt Black paint. I don't think shiny tubes make for good contrast.

FLOCK IT? too late its painted and very nice it looks too I have painted it with a mat black paint suitable for wrought iron or wood and its gone on a treat I have painted the entire tube with this stuff bUt I intend to gloss black the outside later on btw if anyone whants a good Flocking link here's one
