Lunar Mosaic - Heritage 130p

Hi All,  had a crack at my first lunar mosaic the other night.  Went with the heritage 130p rather than the 200p to reduce the number of panes needed (only three panes in this).

It's got some artifacts from the stitching but it's my first go at using MICE.

Shot with QHY5L-ii colour and left as full colour. Tweaked a bit in PS but this is the actual colour recorded.

Stacked best 500 out of 3000 for each pane PIPP>AS!2>Registax 6

Nice First...I have been working up to a mosaic myself, new software is always fun.

Nice mosaic. I'd recommend AutoStitch as an alternative to MSICE, works really well on Solar and Lunar images. I find it quite often does a better job than ICE and will often produce a mosaic where ICE refuses to do so.

Well done, I know hard it is to nail focus... But I think you've added your own focuser?

Thanks!  Yes I added a TS 2" crayford.  It's not the best but it's miles better than the original plastic hex focuser on the heritage (especially for imaging)
