September 17th - H Alpha

Out early as I was out for the day.  A quick snatched frame taken at 7.49 am.  The sun was still fairly low and the seeing poor, but alas I didn't have time to wait for the sun to climb higher in the sky.  Yes, you've guessed it - the sky was clear all day after I went out, ha.  Prominence activity very low.  Only one worthy of mention in the SE.  Taken with Lunt 60 DS and Olympus E-M10, 1/60 at 500 asa.

Many thanks for your kind comments.  Currently waiting for it to clear (wall to wall sun forecast) before I go out in an hour or so.  It looks like many of us should have some sun today, fingers and everything else crossed!

Looks touch and go here if the present cloud moves before the new cloud arrives from the west
