NGC 6888 HA RGB with new scope

Hi Everyone, I managed to gat some photon's flowing through the new scope

last week , conditions were great to start off with, with no moon and good

transparency, alas it only lasted a hour then got bad so packed up after 2 hours or so

which was barley enough data to make the picture, with out stretching to far

especially on the colour data, I have pushed it a bit more than I would like

I blended the HA channel to 50% red so it not quite as pinky as with just the red alone.

scope was the wo star 71 on a AZ-EQ6GT  15 minute ha subs 6 off and 6 x 2 minute

The mono is the pick of the pair for me - I think it works really well in B&W  Nice image....... well done

I like the mono image very much, but I also think you've done well with the colour - looks more like a bi-colour result (which offers a more refined palette to my mind than a full-on HST palette).

Very nice images, but for me the mono just wins it.

lovely image Paul i like both now, just add OIII and mix it as HOO and RGB

Two delicate and well processed images - mono for me too.  Nice star control, good focus.  What's not to like.

It's not always easy to combine the Ha channel with the RGB and achieve a widely-acceptable pink/red: it has my vote .
