First EAA captures :)

Having moved from imaging with a DSLR to the "faster" approach of EAA, here are my first efforts.
Trying out my new Altair GPCAMV2, live stacking in Sharpcap.
Roughly 10mins of 8s frames
M51 and Abell 2199

Not "pretty" I know, but enjoying this new way of imaging.

A great first start - nice to see what the GPCAM V2 and Sharpcap can achieve.

What did a single 8s frame look like for M51 and what scope/reducer are you using?

A single 8s frame for M51 wasn't too bad, not a great deal of noise due to the Exmor sensor.

Unfortunately don't have a frame to show you, because I saved it as a combined stack, not separate frames.

However both galaxy cores were visible, as well as the start of spiral arm detail

Just using a SW 150P, no reducer used, but I do own one.
