First View of Jupiter this morning

Wow! just had my first ever view of Jupiter this morning. All 4 satellites and two equatorial bands, the disc was boiling a bit but it was unmistakeable and amazing.

Yeah it looks pretty amazing from my window just now... had a swatch through the binos and could see the moons too! Great thing to view is Jupiter

yah well done johnathan, i saw it for first time couple nights ago, still amazed itching for view two now.

Congrats Jonathan. I got my first view about a week ago, same sort of view. It's quite a sight.

I was going to post almost exactly the same thing, my first view last night also. Amazing sight, I still haven't stopped smiling yet!

Thanks for the replies, I have been buzzing since seeing it too. No GRS yet though I am told it is not that easy to see. Looking forward to a better view once it reaches opposition next month.
