Good evening. I'm currently looking for some nice 6x30 porros for sweeping the night skies and have a few models in mind. Can anybody give me any thoughts on these?

Opticron savanna 6x30

Kowa yf 6x30

Yosemite bx1 6x30.

I'm leaning towards the opticrons but would appreciate any input.

Cheers.

I recently obtained a pair of Bushnell Nature View 6x30 bins and have been very pleased with them.  I was very pleasantly surprised at how bright an image they show, considering the small objectives.  The image through the bins nicely matches the view through the finder scopes on my telescopes, which has greatly facilitated star hopping (just have to do a little mental inverting).  These bins have also replaced my trusty Nature View 8x42's as my hiking/birding bins.

When I was researching this a couple of years back, I considered & rejected the Yosemite. I eventually went for the Vortex Raptor 6.5x32 and have been very pleased with them.

Yes, the Raptor is a surprisingly good binocular for its price.
