Prime focus with 150p

Can anyon tell me if you can achieve prime focus with a dslr with the Explorer 150p?

The 150P has a direct slr connection which allows you to attach a t ring directly onto the focuser so it should be possible.

I don't see a 150P within your signature, but if you don't own one and haven't purchased one already, then this is the one designed for imaging: the 150P-DS...

I have one, & yes you can, but I'd also recommend a coma corrector

Thanks for the replies, i am looking to better my astrophotography. i have the 130p at the moment but it cant reach prime focus so for somthing else.

You'd probably need to get a low profile focuser and/or move the mirror up the tube a little bit to get the 130p to focus. So it's a bit of a flaff. Alternatively you could change it for the 130PDS and save a bit of time and work:

If you really want to make a good job of AP though you're eventually gonna want a better mount than those in your signature.
