warpout
Looking to buy a decent Barlow(X2 or X3) for about £50-£75. I am using Skywatcher 200P Reflector and BST eyepieces . Any suggestions welcome.
NGC 1502
A very good option would be a used TeleVue barlow, hard to beat and will last a lifetime. If buying new, I'd avoid the cheapest, but your £50 - £75 budget should avoid that and maybe someone can come up with a suitable purchase.Regards, Ed. baggywrinkle
Baader do a nice one which screws into the eye piece much like a filter. Works well.I have a Powermate and that is good too, but pricey.
laudropb
+1 for the Revelation 2.5 Barlow. I use this with a similar set up to yours and have no complaints.
miguel87
http://www.telescopesandbinoculars.co.uk/acatalog/Astro_accessories_miscallaneus.htmlCant beat a TAL 2x barlow at 40quid. It says they are out of stock at the moment but i got mine from them in the past. Just have to call and check when they get stock. The TAL is also a 1.5x barlow. Many barlows do this.Mike
Charic
Skywatchers very own 2x Deluxe is a good buy, comes with T- adaptor, and if you just use the lens cell, you have the smaller 1.6x power, or with body 2x power.
