I am currently using an ED80 as a guide scope.  My ED80 has a Moonlite focuser on it.  Tonight, I slackened off what I thought was the focus lock screw so that I could focus the ED80.  Needless to say, I had slackened off the wrong knob - the one I loosened was the one that enables the focuser to be rotated.

Every imaging session is like a new experience...or at least long enough to forget one or two important steps....

I never look up at the skies after I have decided to pack it up for the night...that way you don't get disappointed. It is difficult not to look, but with practice you can and it really works...
