Pelican Atik 314 + 200mm lens

This is a first light for an Atik 314L + Canon 200mm f2.8 lens on a CCD/lens rig I made recently

since I was more than a little over enthusiastic with the processing and have tinkered and now much happier with this version I think. Less sharp and more natural stars.

Very nice David, I've had a thingy to attach my 314L to Canon lenses for ages but not got round to trying it, not enough clear skies

Any chance you could post a picture of how you couple your lens to the CCD.

Can you use a filter wheel with it?

Thanks guys, I'm getting there.

I've used a Geoptic Canon-M42 adaptor. The Atik 314 needs a 10mm spacer so not enough room for a filter wheel. It does however take a filter inside the adaptor. It's a bit of a difficult to change so made a neat little tool which makes it a far less fraught task. Pictures will explain it better.
