My first M42 through a telescope

Hi,

I know it's just another Orion picture but it is the first through my equipment and it took a lot of effort: Setting the alarm for 2 a.m., start imaging, setting the alarm for 5 a.m. shut down - repeat the next night...

We had precious little clear skies over the last few month and I will be away for 2 months and I really didn't want to miss my chance. Should I be lucky and get more opportunities I am also keen on the horsehead/flame nebulae.

3x300sec ISO1600 + 30x180sec ISO800

Thanks for looking and clear skies!

HJ

Thank you gentlemen, your comments are much appreciated. When I started with just a camera, I would do several targets a night... Now I do one target over several nights. I am happy about every result which I consider worth showing  .

Clear skies!

HJ
