M31 with new refractor

I was waiting for the Heart Nebula to clear the trees, had clear skies, and thought it might be neat to compare the AT72ED field of view to my reflecting newt's mosaic. I think I like the refractor better, probably mostly due to bad processing on the mosaic, but it took 1/10th the time to catch.

Normally I would spend at least double what I got on this, but it wasn't the reason I was out to begin with

That image is something for me to aspire to! Lovely colours and nicely framed. Just started AP using the same camera and now I'm looking for something with a wide FOV.

yeah, I probably could have sharpened up the image a bit, but with so few subs I didn't want to accentuate the noise
